There are shows around the periphery of similar concepts. However Krrish star cognizes the correspondence because Aamir Khan’s revolutionary show Satyamev Jayate talks about sensitive social issues and their victims. On the other hand Amitabh Bachchan’s new show Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi celebrates common people who are achievers of the society. Director Samar Khan said at the launch event:
“So yes there is a certain amount of similarity and there is certain amount of difference in each show but I think it’s important for us to understand that everybody around now is celebrating these Heroes.”
The first episode of the show will feature the struggle and success story of 2015 Commonwealth Heavyweight Champion Sangram Singh, who was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and was on wheelchair for eight years. Other heroes introduced in the series are Harshini Kanhekar, Navin Gulia, Subhreet Kaur, Shekhar Naik, Virender Singh, Sudha Chandran, Kalpana Saroj and Saji Thomas.
