The company LG launched its next awaited flagship device – LG G4 in the New York City. The event took place at the New World Trade Center, where Jun-Ho Cho, the President and CEO, Mobile Communications, and Frank Lee, Director, Mobile Communications LG mobile USA, unveiled the new product. The main features of the phone includes a 5.5 inch Quad HD IPS display and 32 GB memory; in addition it has a rear and front view 16 MP camera with image sensor.
It functions on an Android 5.1 operating system and is offered in 6 different colors including Gray, White, Black and Brown. It is interesting to note that the phone will be available with a genuine leather removable back as well – quite unique! But if leather isn’t your thing, the G4 also comes in plastic with a diamond pattern on the back. Further, it has a removable 3,000 mAh battery and a microSD slot.
The phone is slightly curved which is called the ‘Slim Arch’ aspect of this model, which is to prevent the screen from hitting the ground directly and possibly shattering.
The phone will initially be available in USA in May/June but the launch price has not been disclosed yet. It is surely going to be a tough competition to Samsung’s Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge – which have already proven themselves to be excellent devices.
