Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan paid homage to the people who lost their lives in Mumbai terror attacks, seven years ago during a song launch of his latest movie ‘Dilwale‘. He also calls for tough punishment for terrorists.
Calling it as a sad day in the Indian history, Shah Rukh Khan said, “It is an extremely sad day today, for seven years ago in 2008 when the dastardly and most vicious attacks happened in our country, in our city. So, before we continue with the revelries or celebrations as we are going to go ahead with as our country has taught us to do in the face of fear, treachery, danger and scare, we should observe a minute’s silence to give respect to people who lost their lives and loved ones seven years ago.”
Shah Rukh Khan also recommended severe punishment to be allocated to terrorists who carry out such acts.
“Hope we can fight these kind of treachery and these kind of acts with the bravery and with the resilience we have done for years and give punishment to all the people who do these kind of acts,” said SRK.

Seven years back , On 26 November 2008, 10 Pakistani reportedly reached Mumbai by sea route and opened fire randomly at people killing 166, including 18 security personnel, and injuring several others, besides damaging property worth many crores.
