Ever wonder how dangerous some man-made roads can be?
You will be surprised to know that from a road in India situated at аn еlеvаtiоn оf over 11,000 fееt, to an unpaved passage in the Philiррinеѕ with numеrоuѕ lоftу drор оffѕ, ѕоmе mоrе than 1,000 feet – there are some deadly roads around us!
Kabul to Jalalabad Afghanistan – Vertical drops, sharp turns and kamikaze drivers, means the expressway take such a variety of lives so frequently that the vast majority quit keeping scores a long time ago. Without adding to the fact that path is also the stronghold of the Taliban group.Things were much easier before the construction of the road.
Karakoram Highway Pakistan – This road is named “the friendship highway” by the Pakistani government. However, there’s nothing pleasant for drivers or travelers of the Karakoram. The Karakoram Highway is the most astounding paved road on the plant, filled with torrential slides avalanches insurgents and on the Pakistan side an actual sign says – “Relax ! slide area ends”.
Kolyma Highway Siberia – It is a road through the Russian Far East. It connects Magadan with the town of Nizhny Bestyakh, located on the eastern bank of Lena River opposite Yakutsk. The Kolyma Highway is also known as the Road of Bones, as the skeletons of the forced laborers who died during its construction were used in much of its foundations.
